10 Random Things About Me:

1. Dogs are my favourite animal, I have 5!
2. I prefer happy endings in both the books I read and the movies I watch!
3. I love Disney. Walt Disney the man(such an inspiration), Disney movies, Disney decor and of course Disney World!
4. I absolutely love the word INSPIRED! as silly as it sounds the word inspired and its variations (inspire, inspiring) make me feel so much fire and drive to create!
5. I love being a mom, although it can be hard for sure, I love my kids and their unique personalities and I love our relationship.
6. My husband is my rock and my best friend. We met when we were teenagers and knew then that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.
7. My mom moved in with us and we love it! She is extremely helpful and is a big part of me being able to start Love & Lace Photography, not to mention my personal sounding board and therapist. (Thanks Mom)
8. I like to travel and would probably move just outside of Nashville if I could move all of my friends and family with me.
9. I have lived in St.Catharines, Roseneath, Kingston, Toronto, Thorold, Bowmanville and finally Campbellford.
10. I love the shows Friends (I can probably recite every line word for word, I've been watching it since it was originally on), The Big Bang theory and Bridgerton (love stories, gorgeous dresses, beautiful sets and intriguing dance numbers to some really cool remakes of popular songs makes for some very entertaining viewing).

I am originally from the Niagara Region. My husband, 2 kids and I moved to the Northumberland & Trent Hills area in 2018. This area has always been special to me as it's where I spent several summer weekends with my best friend at her trailer and it's where I met my husband.

From early on I knew I wanted to be a mom. We were blessed with 2 kids and I was fortunate to get to stay home with them for over 10 years.

My kids have been my passion. They bring me joy, love and let's be honest a little frustration, okay a LOT of frustration. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and knew I needed it to be something creative. I have always enjoyed taking pictures and when we moved to the area I had the opportunity to shadow a generous fellow photographer. From there I took many photography courses, practiced, practiced and practiced some more. Then even though I was nervous, I took the leap and started Love & Lace Photography.

I absolutely love coming up with ways to make each clients photography session tailored to them and I encourage a little day dreaming. We can work together or I can be the decision maker and plan it from start to finish with information I get from you during our consultation(s).
